Hört sich für mich erst mal nicht schlecht an!The former will be titled SUSPIRIA DE PROFUNDIS and inspired by the book of the same title by 19th-century British writer Thomas De Quincey, who will be the series’ lead character. Set in London and Rome at the turn of the 20th century, the program, for which Argento will serve as artistic supervisor, will establish De Quincey as a Sherlock Holmes type investigating supernatural mysteries and “psychological fantasies of evil.”

Es fehlen sowohl ein paar Sekunden Schmodder als auch über 6 Minuten Handlung, die seinerzeit der Schere zum Opfer fielen...schnittberichte.com hat geschrieben: Seit Oktober 2014 ist Suspiria in Deutschland als 4-Disc Edition im Mediabook von 84 Entertainment erhältlich. Seit Mai des gleichen Jahres wurde der Film auch vorzeitig vom Index gestrichen, weshalb man eine FSK-Prüfung anstreben konnte und eine Fassung fürs Kaufhaus anbieten kann.
Dies gescheiht auch demnächst: ab dem 25. September 2015 steht Suspiria auf DVD und Blu-ray mit FSK-Freigabe im Handel. Jedoch befindet sich dort laut Labelaussage von New Vision Media nur die alte gekürzte Fassung drin

Die neusten Gerüchte um ein Remake besagen das Luca Guadagnino diesen Film drehen wird und Studiocanal Produziert das ganze.
