Diese Eigeneinschätzung wird von den Autoren Rolf Giesen ... und Ronald M. Hahn in ihrem Gemeinschaftswerk „Das neue Lexikon des Horrorfilms“ (im Zuge einer Kurzkritik zu „Inferno“) durch die folgende Anmerkung ergänzt:
„[…] Da fragt man sich, zu was er in der Lage wäre, würde ihm mal jemand ein ordentliches Drehbuch liefern."
Dieses "Lexikon" hat bei mir schon längst das zeitliche gesegnet. Aber genau diese Passage hat sich in mein Gedächtnis
eingbrannt. Fand schon immer, daß die ziemlich entlarvend war.
