Auf der IMDB gibts ja folgenden Eintrag

Ohne den Film zu kennen: ist das ein Marketing-Gag oder warum ist dieser etwas zweifelhafte "Wink" an Eli Roth in den Credits gelandet? Wo besteht nach Meinung der Macherinnen der Unterschied zwischen "ernstem" Torture-Porn und "unterhaltsamen" Torture-Porn? Warum entscheidet man sich beim Langfilm-Erstling die Gore-Keule zu schwingen? Gehts da um garantierte Aufmerksamkeit durch die Horror-Gemeinde oder war das (in)direkte Vorgabe der Produzenten?

Bloß die Frage bzgl. Eli Roth werde ich nicht stellen, da die Beiden ihm einfach nur für seine Unterstützung danken (der Kritiker oben hat da ein wenig zu viel hineininterpretiert):
"Eli is amazing. He's been incredibly supportive and a very good friend to us. We sent our DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK trailer around to every director from GRINDHOUSE as they had each inspired us. We couldn't believe that only two days after we messaged him, Eli Roth wrote back to us and asked if he could see the finished film. We spoke back and forth and he gave us some really good advice.
